Our Sunday School10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday School classes are held during the Sunday service for students up to the age of twenty. In small classes the children learn of God’s love for them, and how the spiritual and moral teachings of the Bible and Science and Health can help them every day, in every situation. Students learn how to pray and turn to God for help. They discover how biblical teachings, such as the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount are practical tools for guiding their lives. Infants and small children not yet ready for Sunday School are cared for in our Children’s Room.
Our Youth Committee Our youth committee is student run, and involves the youth in activities that support the church’s mission. The youth committee has sponsored a variety of activities such as holding pot luck picnics after church for the congregation, painting a mural on the Sunday School wall, doing service work for the community and for members of the church, and sponsoring a Christian Science lecture for youth. They also support regular church activities by helping provide child care, ushering and youthful enthusiasm. |
