Welcome!

We are one of many churches providing Christian Science services to the Saint Louis area. We are so happy you are visiting our church through this website. We would love to be of help to you. Please feel free to attend a service, contact us through this site (click on Contact Us at the top of this page).

Who are Christian Scientists?
We are teachers, artists, business people - regular people - who are seeking to intimately know the God of Love from the Bible and have found Mary Baker Eddy's book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures to be the best guide for understanding the Bible. This spiritual intimacy, based on divine law, leads to healing for all human needs, whether financial, emotional, or physical.

What is our mission?
"To organize a church to commemorate the word and works of our Master, Christ Jesus, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." --
Mary Baker Eddy,
Church Manual

Our Sunday service is held at 10:30 a.m., with Sunday School for children up to the age of 20 held at the same time. Children too young for Sunday School are cared for in our nursery.

A Wednesday evening testimony meeting is held at 7:30, and child care is provided for young children.

What should I expect at a Christian Science church service?
The sermon for the Sunday service is read by two members serving as readers who read the Bible Lesson Sermon, published in the Christian Science Quarterly, on one of 26 topics. Three hymns are sung, silent prayer is followed with the Lord's Prayer, and a collection is taken.

The message for the Wednesday testimony meeting is prepared and read by the member serving as the First Reader, and is on a topic of his or her choosing. Testimonies are given by attendees, during the last half of the service, who choose to share how their practice of Christian Science has helped them. A collection is not taken at the meeting.
